Before you finish your college...



College life is all about healthy relations and mutual assistance. Relations can be heavily motivational and help students perform better in all aspects of life. It instills maturity and improves communication prospects in students and also enhances the social behavior of students before they enter the corporate world.
The right balance between academics and relationships is essential to succeed in life. Getting obsessed with just one of these could prove to be dangerous. The students should have ability to successfully handle pressures well enough to avoid compromising on relational and academic pressures. Friends who complement each other on their successes are hard to get and you are lucky if you have such motivating relationships.
Apart from scheduled activities and academic works, find time to enjoy yourself in the company of your friends. Of course planning an activity and adhering to it is important but avoid same routine for weeks together. Assign priorities to your academic work and take breaks in between to hang-out with friends. Studying together and hanging out together can be fun, but remember not to overdo any of this. 'work while you work and play while you play', though it is an old saying you will realize it only when the semester comes to an end and you find that you have wasted the study time. Accept the facts and make the most of your limited time.
While maintaining healthy relationships don't just confine yourself to a group. Explore the people around you and identify characters with similar interests and share your ideas. This will boost your moral confidence and increases your knowledge potential. Explore the opportunities outside your college and participate in all the outside competitions as it gives you the much needed exposure and recognition for your talent in an entirely new environment.
College life is all about new experiences and unexpected happenings. Keep yourself engaged all year and be in touch with all your friends and mentors. The college life is a onetime experience and once you complete it you shouldn't have any regrets. Make sure you have had a bit of everything in college life. Those who are more conscious about doing extraordinary stuffs in college are advised to prepare a bucket list and accomplish it before the end of your student tenure. Leaving a legacy behind is the biggest achievement of any student and not all might be able to do it. The college has several academic toppers but not many super performers. Becoming a popular figure is not that easy and handling academic pressures simultaneously is a big task. One advice for all you youngsters, don't be an underachiever. Explore your potential and don't be shy to expose yourselves to the world.

A college degree that defines your career..



Students go through a similar high school education and graduate as a bunch of aspiring minds with different perspectives. Their career distinguishes their interests and the idea of whom to be will define their course selection. Most of the students apply for courses out of parental pressure and sometimes because they have no idea of what to do next. However, getting a degree is much important these days and none are worried about what it’s going to fetch them or what to do next. People are ignorant about the various opportunities around the world and the rising demand of specialists in certain fields. This ignorance has led to stiff competition in one particular career and absolutely zero takers for another career.
Before being conclusive in your college education take time to explore the various career opportunities and the educational requirement of jobs in demand. Make the right choice that composes your interests and career options in that field. Remember to ask yourself this question before you decide; “Is your degree worth a job?". There are hundreds of unemployed gradates literally because of the more qualified people with identical resumes. So the pressure is on the unemployed to find another alternative or to pursue a higher degree.
The costs of higher education are increasing everyday and most of us can’t afford for an extra degree. Therefore the choice of course must be made carefully considering all these factors. Every individual must strive hard to increase the probability of getting a career opportunity soon after graduation. A degree with a couple of years work experience in any corporate will open doors to several career opportunities as employers are looking for experienced candidates rather than fresher. Of course a college graduate is open to opportunities but potentially weaker ones.
At college, students are trained with skills to meet the job requirements and are stressed to develop interpersonal and communication skills to give them the edge over high-school graduates and diploma holders. Employers trust in college management and oblige to hire fresher every year. The students are lured with attractive pay-packages and employee benefits. However, the final choice of the right career rests with us.
The increasing concern for social status has made it mandatory for people to have a minimum of undergraduate degree. College education is important for every individual to understand how to live a professional and dignified life. Therefore, you can find graduates everywhere but only a few are content with their work. Only a lucky few, who were conscious and determined enough to pursue their dreams, work in their dream company and are proud of their work. Half of the world is working because they have a work and are insecure about it.
BEING PASSIONATE IS NOT ENOUGH , BUT BEING SUCCESSFUL IS IMPORTANT.
